CarCheck provides comprehensive vehicle history checking services in the United Kingdom. Our services include:
We aggregate data from official sources including the DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency), DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency), MIAFTR (Motor Insurance Anti-Fraud and Theft Register), and authorized finance databases.
When using our services, you agree to:
Supply truthful, accurate, and complete information when creating an account or making purchases.
Use our services only for legitimate purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
Not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without explicit permission.

You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account. Any violation of these obligations may result in immediate termination of your access to our services.
To access certain features and purchase premium reports, you must create an account.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to create an account.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at security@carcheckuk.co.uk.
Each account is personal to you and may not be shared, transferred, or sold to others. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is prohibited.
Current pricing for our services is displayed on our website. All prices are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect orders already placed but will apply to future purchases.

If a payment fails or is declined, we will notify you via email. We may suspend access to purchased reports until payment is successfully processed. Repeated payment failures may result in account suspension.
VAT invoices and receipts are automatically sent to your registered email address upon successful payment. You can also download them from your account dashboard.
Digital Goods Notice
Our vehicle reports are digital goods delivered instantly upon payment. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you acknowledge that you are requesting immediate delivery and therefore waive your 14-day cancellation right once the report is generated.
We offer refunds in the following circumstances:
You paid but did not receive a report due to a system error on our end
You were accidentally charged multiple times for the same report
The vehicle data is not available in our databases and we cannot generate a report
Once a report is successfully generated and delivered, we cannot offer a refund simply because you changed your mind
Refunds are not available if the report contains information you were hoping not to find (e.g., outstanding finance, previous damage)
If you entered an incorrect vehicle registration number, we cannot offer a refund

Please include your order number, email address, and reason for the refund request. We will review your request and respond within 3-5 business days.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is issued.

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date vehicle information, CarCheck UK Ltd acts as an information provider aggregating data from third-party sources. We do not guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided.

Data Lag: There may be a delay between when an event occurs (e.g., finance settlement, MOT test) and when it appears in our databases, typically 7-14 days.
Missing Information: Not all data is recorded or available for every vehicle, particularly older vehicles or those with limited history.
Third-Party Errors: We rely on the accuracy of data provided by third parties and cannot be held responsible for errors in their records.

The CarCheck name, logo, and all related trademarks are owned by CarCheck UK Ltd. Unauthorized use of our trademarks is strictly prohibited.

You agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or their subject matter or formation.
If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
